ESAB New Demobus created welding buzz at Truckfest

ESAB along with it’s brand new Demobus made its first public appearance at Truckfest South West at the Bath & West Showground on the 3^rd and 4^th of July.

The mobile showroom, which is packed with the latest developments in welding and cutting equipment, automation, consumables, and welding accessories including personal protective equipment, featured for the first time at the event.

Not only did visitors see the latest developments in welding and cutting equipment but the demobus also featured static displays and videos.Additionally a number of ESAB technical staff were on hand to show live welding and cutting demonstrations and answer questions to visitors on various aspects of welding and cutting.

A major focus throughout the weekend was the new go-anywhere welders, the CaddyMig C160i and CaddyMig C200i.These two new machines were making their debut in the UK and proved a great attraction due to their many features including true portability and full functionality.

The demobus attracted a lot of visitors and interest over the two days. ESAB’s Product Marketing Manager Arc Equipment Steve Purnell commented, “Truckfest gave us the perfect platform to show off our new go anywhere welders as well as our comprehensive range of welding equipment, consumables and PPE.  There was a lot of interest in various welding machines from MIG/MAG, MMA, and TIG to automated welding solutions.  The demobus created a welding buzz throughout the showground”.
