Welders in the transport segment are increasingly facing more and more challenges to their work. Whilst budgets are restricted, demand for speed, productivity and efficiency in welding is increasing. ESAB has been working with their customers in this industry for many years to help them overcome the challenges they are facing by developing solutions to these issues.
On 28th July, ESAB hosted their first global webinar, which discussed the issues facing the transport segment and looked into solutions available in the industry that could help the welder improve flexibility, productivity and welding speed.
Florin Oros, Global Segment Manager for the Automotive sector at ESAB, hosted the webinar. The event, held online, was attended by welding professionals from across the globe and allowed them the chance to learn more about technology developments in their industry. It also allowed participants to ask questions to ESAB for the opportunity to gain answers to specific problems and queries that they were facing.
The free event was the first in a proposed mini-series that ESAB will be hosting, which will focus on different sectors and issues in the welding industry. The events will provide information and knowledge to welding professionals and allow for interaction between the consumer and solution providers for welding and cutting. The webinars, which will be held live, will be available after the event on ESAB’s website so that users can continuously view the webinar series.View the Transport Segment webinar or email esab.webinars@esab.net for future webinar information or any questions you may have. Future event information will be posted on the ESAB website.
